Where is Martin Tuning based?
I am based at 8 Ard Caoin, Manorcunningham, Co. Donegal, F92 HY7Z. Appointments are recommended, so call or message before travelling.
Do you offer mobile ECU tuning?
Yes. I take suitable mobile bookings within a 200 km radius of Manorcunningham, covering Donegal, Northern Ireland and surrounding areas by arrangement. Send the machine and location details so I can confirm access and availability.
What vehicles and machines do you tune?
I work with supported cars, vans, HGVs, trucks, agricultural machinery, construction and plant machinery, motorcycles, quads and ATVs. Support is checked against the exact engine and ECU before booking.
Can I bring the vehicle to you?
Yes. You can book at my Manorcunningham workshop. For larger machines or working fleets, I can also arrange a mobile visit when the site and access are suitable.
Do you tune tractors and agricultural machinery?
Yes. I tune supported tractors, harvesters, telehandlers and other agricultural machines. Tell me the exact model, engine, ECU and the work it does so I can assess the right route.
Do you tune construction machinery?
Yes, where the machine and ECU are supported. Excavators, loaders, dumpers and other plant can often be handled on site after the access and power requirements are agreed.
Do you offer HGV and truck tuning?
Yes. I assess supported trucks by engine, ECU, duty cycle, current faults and operating requirements. Mobile appointments can be arranged for suitable commercial jobs within 200 km.
What is Stage 1 tuning?
Stage 1 is intended for a healthy machine using standard performance hardware. I revise the calibration for stronger usable response, torque and power while keeping the real operating context in mind.
When is Stage 2 appropriate?
Stage 2 is for a suitable machine with supporting performance hardware already fitted. Send the full parts list so I can confirm whether that route makes sense.
Do you offer DPF, EGR, AdBlue and NOx services?
I provide lawful diagnostics and repair support for DPF, EGR, AdBlue, SCR and NOx systems on road vehicles. I do not unlawfully remove or disable emissions-control equipment.
Is the original ECU file kept?
Yes. I retain the original ECU read before writing a tuned calibration, keeping a controlled route back to the standard file if it is needed later.
